Mumbai, July 1 (NationPress) The renowned German luxury automotive brand Audi announced on Tuesday that it sold 2,128 units in India during the first half of this year, spanning January to June.
The company highlighted that its pre-owned vehicle initiative, ‘Audi Approved: plus’, displayed remarkable resilience, achieving a 10 percent growth in sales during this period (H1 2025).
Currently, the brand operates 26 pre-owned car facilities and plans to expand this network further in the coming months.
“Despite the unique market challenges faced in H1 2025, we have leveraged this time to fortify our groundwork for sustainable growth. By adopting a luxury-first strategy and providing outstanding customer experiences, we are enhancing brand loyalty,” stated Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India.
“We foresee considerable growth opportunities in the luxury sector in the latter half of the year, driven by new product launches, our digital-first strategy, and a steadfast commitment to customer satisfaction,” he added.
Although the brand with the four rings is encountering challenges due to declining demand—attributed to price hikes from a depreciating exchange rate and increasing market uncertainty stemming from shifting geopolitical scenarios—Audi India remains optimistic about the growth of the Indian luxury automotive market in the upcoming festive season, spurred by rising customer aspirations.
Audi India is also at the forefront of the shift towards sustainable mobility, having successfully established over 6,500 charging points across the nation under its ‘Charge My Audi’ initiative, thereby boosting convenience and confidence among EV customers nationwide.
The current lineup of Audi India includes the Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi Q3, Audi Q3 Sportback, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, Audi Q8, Audi RS Q8, Audi Q8 e-tron, Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron, Audi e-tron GT, and Audi RS e-tron GT.
Recently, Olympic medallist and World Champion Neeraj Chopra was unveiled as the ‘Friend of Audi’, further solidifying the brand’s innovative stance and its strong affinity with the modern, performance-oriented Indian consumer.
