New Delhi, April 18 (NationPress) The non-banking financial entity Capital India Finance Limited (CIFL) has officially listed its equity shares on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). This strategic move aims to boost visibility among investors, enhance shareholder value, and increase market engagement.
“We, Capital India Finance Limited (“Company”) are thrilled to announce that our equity shares are now listed on the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (“NSE”) effective from April 17, under the symbol: CIFL,” the company stated.
Previously, the shares of Capital India Finance were exclusively listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). With this dual listing, shares will now be available for trading on both exchanges using the same ticker symbol, CIFL.
Commenting on this milestone, Sumit K. Narvar, Group Chairman and Managing Director of Capital India Corp, expressed, “We are excited to reach this significant achievement by listing CIFL on the NSE.”
“This dual listing will enhance our visibility to a broader investor base, foster improved market participation, and create new pathways for growth and capital accessibility,” Narvar noted.
He also highlighted that over the past two years, CIFL has undertaken various strategic initiatives to enhance corporate governance, boost business efficiency, and strengthen investor trust.
The NSE listing, Narvar stated, signifies the company’s dedication to these values.
The equity shares of Capital India Finance Limited, which are already traded on the BSE, will now be accessible on the NSE under the same ticker symbol CIFL.
The company revealed that 72.95 percent of its equity is owned by Capital India Corp Private Limited (CICPL), a principal investment firm registered with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
“CICPL is founded by Sumit K. Narvar, a first-generation entrepreneur who has developed businesses in fintech, financial services, and real estate, predominantly in North and West India,” the company further stated.
CIFL also boasts strategic investments from major business groups including Dharampal Satyapal (DS) Group, RJ Corp, DLF Group, and Sudhir Power Limited.
