New Delhi, Oct 14 (NationPress) The forthcoming 1-GW hyperscale Google Data Centre in Visakhapatnam is projected to yield around Rs 10,000 crore in revenue for Andhra Pradesh, as stated by Union Minister of State for Communications Pemmasani Chandrasekhar on Tuesday.

Labeling the initiative a pivotal moment in Swarandhra Pradesh's journey toward progress and self-sufficiency, the Union Minister emphasized that the investment of roughly $15 billion over a span of five years (2026-2030) will produce between 5,000 and 6,000 direct jobs and a total of 20,000 to 30,000 jobs in the state. It will also enhance essential manpower, infrastructure, power, and cooling facilities in Visakhapatnam, creating a substantial multiplier effect on the local economy.
