New Delhi, Nov 5 (NationPress) In a significant move, the US tech giant Google unveiled a two-week initiative under its Google for Startups India program aimed at empowering early-stage founders, startup teams, and aspiring entrepreneurs to create launch-ready AI prototypes utilizing Google's AI tools.

The program is designed to provide participants with essential knowledge and tools to swiftly transform their ideas into functional, AI-driven prototypes using Google’s cutting-edge AI technologies, as stated in the official release.

Scheduled to run from November 27 to December 7, 2025, attendees will gain hands-on experience in ideation, research, design, and deployment of AI-first solutions, utilizing tools such as Gemini, Nano Banana, Imagen, Veo, NotebookLM, and AI Studio.

The program emphasizes practical skills in areas like AI-First Prototyping, AI-Powered Research, and AI Creative Studio.

Successful participants will receive a Google-recognized Certificate of Participation and will be eligible for the “Build the Future” Showcase in January 2026, which highlights exceptional innovators and offers invaluable mentorship from Google experts.

“At Google for Startups, our mission is to democratize the power of AI for every founder, breaking down traditional coding barriers. This initiative will allow entrepreneurs to transition from concept to creation more swiftly and confidently by leveraging Google’s full-stack AI ecosystem,” stated Ragini Das, Head of Google for Startups - India.

This initiative has garnered support from MeitY Startup Hub, Startup India, IndiaAI Mission, and Nasscom, according to Google.

MeitY Startup Hub CEO Panneerselvam Madanagopal remarked that this collaboration aligns with the vision of Digital India and Viksit Bharat by empowering founders nationwide to develop globally competitive solutions for social upliftment through AI.

In September, Google announced the latest cohort of its free three-month AI accelerator program, selecting 20 startups from over 1,600 applicants to enhance AI-driven solutions across various sectors including healthcare, finance, climate, and education.

The company noted that India’s generative AI ecosystem has expanded 3.7-fold over the past year, positioning it as the world’s second-largest GenAI startup hub.

Point of View

I believe that Google's latest initiative is a testament to the growing importance of AI in the startup ecosystem. By providing resources and guidance to new entrepreneurs, Google is not only fostering innovation but also contributing to the broader objective of making India a global leader in technology. This program could pave the way for future leaders who will drive social change through AI.
