The India Stack Global portal offers access to essential digital platforms and technical resources, acting as a conduit between India's vast experience and the needs of allied nations.
As of February, the Indian government has established memoranda of understanding (MoU) and agreements with 24 countries to collaborate on India Stack and digital public infrastructure.
These collaborations are centered on exchanging technical expertise and fostering the replication of digital governance platforms.
The government emphasized that India's DPI has evolved into a robust, interoperable framework that supports economic activities, public service delivery, and institutional capabilities.
"India's model illustrates that scalability does not have to sacrifice trust, and that transparency can exist alongside security and regulation. By aligning technology with public interest, India has demonstrated that digital systems can enhance democracy while propelling growth," the statement read.
By March 2026, more than 144 crore Aadhaar numbers had been issued, and over 2,707 crore authentication transactions were recorded in the fiscal year 2024–25. The Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana accounts surged from 14.72 crore in 2015 to 57.71 crore by March 2026, with deposits increasing from Rs 15,670 crore to Rs 2.94 lakh crore.
Additionally, fifth-generation (5G) mobile services are now accessible in 99.9% of districts, reaching 85% of the population. By December 2025, 5.18 lakh 5G base transceiver stations had been set up across the nation.
The Unified Payments Interface (UPI) facilitated 21.70 billion transactions valued at over Rs 28.33 lakh crore in January 2026.
The JAM trinity established the foundational framework upon which India's extensive DPI ecosystem was constructed, linking identity, finance, and connectivity at an unparalleled scale.
Moreover, the Public Financial Management System (PFMS) eliminated duplicate and fraudulent beneficiaries from Direct Benefit Transfers, saving more than Rs 4.31 lakh crore from 2015 to March 2024.
