Key Takeaways
New Delhi, March 9 (NationPress) The ecosystem of India's digital platforms has significantly enhanced the business journey, from initiation to growth, with remarkable speed and convenience through the National Single Window System (NSWS), Government e-Marketplace, MCA21, and other similar resources, as announced by the Centre on Monday.
India's cohesive digital framework has also expanded market reach and increased liquidity for countless enterprises. The National Single Window System has issued more than 8,29,750 approvals across 32 central departments and 32 states, as per an official statement.
Moreover, the MCA21 Project is transforming India's corporate environment through its AI-enhanced approach that greatly improves transparency. This project, featuring advanced functionalities like e-Scrutiny, e-adjudication, and e-consultation, has seen around 3.84 crore filings from 2021 to 2025, according to the statement.
The Udyam Registration Portal has enabled 7.71 crore registrations and supported 33.97 crore jobs as of February 12, 2026, the statement elaborated.
This portal provides a free, paperless, and self-declaration system for MSMEs. By seamlessly integrating with the Central Board of Direct Taxes and GST network databases, it offers a completely digital experience without the need for documentation, thereby removing administrative obstacles.
"By aligning central platforms with state-level reforms, India is offering entrepreneurs and business owners a streamlined, transparent, and dependable path to growth," the statement added.
The Government e-Marketplace has evolved into a digital procurement platform that connects sellers and service providers nationwide, including women entrepreneurs, startups, micro and small enterprises (MSEs), artisans, self-help groups (SHGs), and persons with disabilities.
As of February 12, the Government e-Marketplace has recorded over 4 lakh crore in order value for FY26, with an order volume exceeding 60 lakh. Its module facilitated auctions totaling over Rs 2,200 crore from December 2021 to November 2025, with more than 23,000 registered bidders and participation from over 17,000 auctioneers.
India has reformed its administrative structure by digitizing approvals at both central and state levels through unified single-window portals. The government has also introduced other digital platforms that enhance transparency, lower costs, and simplify compliance, such as PARIVESH and the e-Gram SWARAJ Portal.
