New Delhi, Feb 3 (NationPress) A remarkable 80.26 lakh forms have been submitted through the Centre's MCA21 portal from April 1, 2024, to Jan 27, 2025. This marks an increase compared to 73.29 lakh submissions during the same timeframe last year, demonstrating enhanced digital solutions that promote ease of doing business in the nation, as reported to Parliament on Monday.
Within this 10-month span, 53.08 lakh forms were submitted on the newly-launched MCA21 V3 platform, surpassing the 47.72 lakh forms filed in the corresponding period of the previous year. This growth reflects an overall rise in filings, increased engagement from stakeholders, and the strengthened reliability of the MCA21 platform, as stated by Minister of State for Corporate Affairs Harsh Malhotra during a written reply in the Lok Sabha.
The MCA21 initiative is the inaugural Mission Mode e-Governance Project under the National eGovernance Plan (NeGP). Since its launch in 2006, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs has managed this platform for all registry and incorporation-related services for companies and LLPs, facilitating a streamlined filing process.
The MCA21 V3 platform enhances ease of doing business by providing web-based forms that allow for real-time validation of entered data. A user registration process has been established to improve user identification and authentication, enabling users to monitor their filed forms' status and directly download challans and certificates from their dashboard. Moreover, a live chat feature has been integrated into the helpdesk, offering real-time support and improving the overall user experience.
To ensure the security and confidentiality of the data submitted via the MCA21 portal, adherence to rigorous data security standards is maintained, including MEITY guidelines, CERT-In regulations, ISO 27001, and other Information Security Protocols. A multi-factor authentication process has been implemented to verify user identities accessing the system. Additionally, measures have been taken to mask private information from public view, safeguarding the data's confidentiality and integrity.
