New Delhi, March 29 (NationPress) Amid rising geopolitical tensions in West Asia, India's supply chain framework remains robust, stable, and well-equipped, as affirmed by the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) on Sunday. CAIT Secretary General and Delhi MP Praveen Khandelwal stated that the government has assured adequate stocks of essential goods nationwide, alleviating concerns over availability and distribution.

“The proactive oversight and effective collaboration between central and state authorities have guaranteed uninterrupted supply chains,” Khandelwal remarked.

“Under PM Modi's leadership, India today is on a much firmer foundation compared to earlier times, with diversified sourcing, enhanced logistics infrastructure, advanced digital monitoring systems, and increased domestic production capabilities,” Khandelwal highlighted.

The government's emphasis on self-reliance, along with initiatives like supply chain digitization and infrastructure enhancement, has notably fortified the resilience of trade and commerce, he added.

Khandelwal further noted that India's economic strength and supply chain resilience reflect the country's readiness to adeptly manage global uncertainties while protecting the interests of its citizens and business sector.

CAIT National President B C Bhartia informed that the CAIT has encouraged traders across the nation to maintain an uninterrupted flow of goods, avoid panic, and continue regular business activities.

“Traders have been urged to work alongside authorities to ensure consumers do not experience any inconvenience,” Bhartia stated.

Both Khandelwal and Bhartia vehemently condemn individuals who are spreading false information and rumors about shortages of essential goods.

“Such statements are entirely unfounded, misleading, and detrimental to national interests. Strict measures should be enforced against those attempting to incite panic in the market,” they emphasized.
