Seoul, Aug 31 (NationPress) Samsung Electronics has secured the leading position in the Indian TV market during the initial half of 2025, as revealed by recent data, with strong sales driven by its premium large-sized models.

The South Korean tech giant held a 23.8 percent market share from January to June, continuing its dominance since 2017, according to research from global firm Omdia.

LG Electronics, Samsung's smaller competitor from South Korea, came in second with a 16.5 percent share, while Xiaomi from China trailed with 7.9 percent, as reported by Yonhap news agency.

Experts noted that Samsung's success in India is attributed to its advanced large-screen offerings, such as Neo QLED and OLED TVs.
