Referring to WAVES 2025 as a global platform for creativity, technology, and opportunities, the minister emphasized that this will represent “One global stage for boundless creativity” from Mumbai to the world.
“Crafted for YOU, the creators! Creatosphere is evolving as a launchpad for creators to display their skills and advance the orange economy,” the minister stated in a post on the X social media platform.
Startups in gaming, XR, metaverse, GenAI, and more will have the opportunity to pitch to leading investors and celebrities. WAVES Bazaar serves as the ultimate business hub for the media and entertainment sector.
This online marketplace is designed to link professionals, businesses, and creators within the global entertainment ecosystem.
Participation is expected from over 100 countries, with more than 5,000 delegates registered for the event. The summit is aimed to be held annually in Mumbai, significantly enhancing the city's global stature.
Additionally, ‘Resonate: The EDM Challenge’, a flagship competition under the ‘Create in India’ initiative leading up to WAVES 2025, has united global talent in Electronic Dance Music (EDM) to honor innovation, creativity, and collaboration in music production and live performances.
The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (I&B), in partnership with the Indian Music Industry (IMI), has revealed the names of the top 10 shortlisted candidates for ‘Resonate: The EDM Challenge’.
This challenge's success further solidifies India's position as a global hub for music fusion, electronic music, and DJ artistry.
The shortlisted finalists are now set to prepare for their grand finale performance, where they will showcase their talents on the WAVES global stage, according to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
