Having established her presence in Tamil cinema, Aditi is now poised to make her Telugu debut in the action-packed film 'Bhairavam', directed by Vijay Kanakamedala.
At a promotional press conference for Bhairavam, she was questioned if her father watches her work. The vibrant actress responded with laughter, stating, "He has no other option. If he doesn't watch my films, I will fight him."
'Bhairavam' stars Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas, Manoj Manchu, and Nara Rohit alongside Aditi Shankar, Anandi, and Divya Pillai. Aditi's character in the film is depicted as bold yet charming.
Aditi shared, "The role I portray is very much like my own personality. Director Vijay observed my debut film in Tamil and believed I would be perfect for this role in 'Bhairavam'. He reached out to me about this project, leading to my involvement."
Reflecting on her journey, Aditi mentioned her past visits to Ramoji Film City and the Telugu states for shoots with her father. She expressed, "Shooting for my own film here feels like a dream realized. I’ve always wanted to act in Telugu cinema, and I’m thrilled to present such a wonderful film to the Telugu audience."
When inquired about the challenges she encountered during her Telugu film debut, Aditi admitted initial concerns regarding language barriers. "However, our director and writer Satya were incredibly supportive. Their assistance made this journey seamless," she shared.
Produced by KK Radhamohan under Sri Sathya Sai Arts and presented by Dr. Jayanthilal Gada of Pen Studios, the film is set to release in theaters on May 30 this year.
