Mumbai, March 16 (NationPress) The talented actor Ajay Devgn delivered an impressive portrayal of Amay Patnaik, the Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, in the 2018 crime thriller "Raid".
As the film marked its 8th anniversary on Monday, Ajay shared a dynamic scene from the movie on his official Instagram account, showcasing his grand entrance at a politician's residence, the target of the raid.
In his post, Ajay captioned the scene, "You can’t gatekeep anything from Amay Patnaik! #8YearsOfRaid" (sic).
The narrative of "Raid" is inspired by the actual income-tax raid on Sardar Inder Singh that occurred in the 1980s, noted as the longest raid in Indian history.
This film was produced by Abhishek Pathak, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Bhushan Kumar, Gaurav Nanda, and Krishan Kumar Dua under the banners of Panorama Studios and T-Series.
In addition to Ajay, the cast includes Ileana D'Cruz, Saurabh Shukla, and Saanand Verma in significant roles.
