Mumbai, Aug 6 (NationPress) The Tis Hazari Court has denied actor Ajaz Khan's request for anticipatory bail, linked to the distribution and publication of pornographic material online.
The court observed that Ajaz Khan failed to comply with two notices from the investigating authorities, necessitating his interrogation to gather digital evidence. His attorney argued that Khan is being falsely accused, claiming that the complainant's son, a YouTuber, has publicly defamed him through videos and social media.
According to the Delhi Police, Ajaz Khan allegedly shared videos with objectionable content aimed at the complainant and her family, threatening them in the process. The police stated that Khan did not cooperate with the investigation despite receiving two notices. The complainant accused him of uploading objectionable videos targeting her and her daughter.
Previously, the actor faced rape charges filed by an actress in Mumbai's Charkop Police station, who claimed he sexually assaulted her under the pretense of marriage. This case is being investigated under the newly implemented Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) sections 64, 64(2)(M), 69, and 74.
As per her allegation, the actress stated that Khan had promised her a role in his OTT show 'House Arrest' and other ventures. She claimed that when the show commenced, he proposed to her and assured her of marriage. The complainant further detailed that on March 25, Ajaz Khan raped her at his residence after misleading her with false marriage promises.
She also mentioned that Khan sexually assaulted her again shortly after, reiterating his marriage promise. The actress claimed he assured her he would take full responsibility for her, even stating that his religion allows for four marriages.
