Mumbai, Oct 3 (NationPress) Bollywood icon Akshay Kumar, who recently starred in ‘Jolly LLB 3’, recounted a shocking event involving his daughter, Nitara.

During the launch of Cyber Awareness Month 2025 on Friday, the actor disclosed that his daughter received a request for nude photographs while engaged in an online game.

In his address at the event, he stated, “I want to share a brief incident that occurred at home a few months back. My daughter was engrossed in a video game. Some games allow interaction with strangers. While playing, she received polite messages like, 'Thank you, that was great' or 'You are doing so well.' Everything seemed normal until the player asked, 'Where are you from?' She responded, 'Mumbai,' and the conversation continued respectfully.”

He continued, “Then came a message, 'Are you male or female?' She answered, 'Female.' The chat progressed, and suddenly, he asked, 'Can you send me a nude picture of yours?' My daughter promptly shut down the game and informed my wife. It was commendable that she spoke up. This incident highlights the onset of cybercrime. Many people and children can easily fall victim. Cases of extortion and even suicides are rising. It's crucial for our children to understand these dangers in the digital realm.”

He urged CM Devendra Fadnavis to implement cybercrime education in schools to enhance awareness regarding these issues across the state.

“In our state, there should be dedicated sessions every week for students in grades 7 to 10, focusing on cybercrime. Children need to be educated about what occurs in this space, as it poses a greater threat than traditional street crime,” he emphasized.
