Mumbai, Feb 28 (NationPress) Actor Ali Fazal recently reminisced about his boarding school experiences, particularly his time acting in a play with Sudhanshu Saria, who is both an actor and producer.

Ali detailed their school's dramatic production and how these early theatrical experiences significantly influenced their acting journeys. The 'Fukrey' actor, who showcased Sudhanshu's LGBTQ+ relationship drama "TAPS" alongside his wife Richa Chadha, credited Sudhanshu as the catalyst for him speaking his very first words in acting.

Reflecting on their shared past, Ali shared, "I don’t know how many can say this, but Sudhanshu is the reason I uttered my very first words in the world of acting. While we were both at boarding school in Dharadun, he pulled me from a crowd to hold a light for a play he had written and was directing. I vividly remember holding the light on the steps of the iconic amphitheater at the Doon School and being entrusted with the crucial task of delivering a single line: 'You blithering nincompoop!'

He continued, "I practiced and rehearsed diligently to calm my nerves until the moment arrived, and I finally delivered the line. What an exhilarating feeling! I am fortunate to have known him from that innocent time, and I feel immense pride in witnessing the paths we have taken. I believe 'TAPS' is merely another milestone in our journey, and I am confident there are many more incredible projects ahead of us."

Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha presented "TAPS" in honor of Valentine’s month, embracing the theme of love. Directed by Arvind Caulagi and produced by Sudhanshu Saria in partnership with the KASHISH Film Festival and Lotus Visual Productions, the short film received notable acclaim at various prestigious film festivals.

Discussing the film, Ali previously mentioned, "TAPS captures something intimate, raw, and real. It reminds us that love transcends merely who we love, but also how we love—through honesty, courage, and resilience. Richa and I felt deeply that a film of this nature should reach a wide audience. It feels absolutely right to share this story with the world."
