Arpita Khan Shares Salman Khan's Love for Comfort Food

Mumbai, Dec 13 (NationPress) Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is a true food lover who adores his home-cooked meals, which feature delectable dishes like rajma chawal, crispy bhindi, and mutton biryani, according to his youngest sister, Arpita Khan.

When asked if her brother, known as Bollywood's Bhaijaan, is indeed a foodie, Arpita replied to IANS: "Absolutely, bhai is a genuine foodie just like the rest of our family. He cherishes his home food; it's what brings him the most comfort."

"Some of the favorite dishes we all enjoy include mutton biryani, beetroot chicken, dal gosht, desi jungli chicken, rajma chawal, and crispy bhindi," Arpita shared, who recently launched a restaurant called "Mercii," an elegant European dining spot in Mumbai.

She also disclosed that Salman has created a unique "special dish" that everyone at home loves.

"We have our signature home dish named Mixture, crafted by bhai himself; it's a recipe he developed and it's the best of all," she mentioned.

Arpita, married to actor Aayush Sharma, noted that her family visited her new restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine.

"I'm thrilled that all my family members who came to the restaurant have appreciated the ambiance, decor, and the food," she expressed.

Speaking of Salman, he recently performed as part of his Dabangg Reloaded Tour in Dubai. He also shared a behind-the-scenes video on Instagram, showcasing him rehearsing for the event.

This marked his first international appearance following threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The actor was accompanied by other stars on the tour, including Tamannaah Bhatia, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonakshi Sinha, Aastha Gill, Sunil Grover, Prabhu Deva, and Maniesh Paul.

In terms of his acting career, the Dabangg star is currently filming his much-anticipated movie, 'Sikandar'.

This film is directed by A.R. Murugadoss, famous for 'Ghajini', and features Rashmika Mandanna. It aims to blend Salman's signature charm with an engaging narrative that's already creating a buzz in the industry.

'Sikandar' is being crafted with a strong emphasis on captivating storytelling and dynamic performances, promising yet another unforgettable Salman Khan performance.

This film will be the first collaboration between Salman and Rashmika and is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

It also marks Salman's reunion with Sajid after the successful 'Kick', which was released in 2014. The film's release is scheduled for Eid 2025, a festival traditionally reserved for Salman Khan's film launches.
