Arpita Khan Shares Insights on Brother Salman Khan's Love for Comfort Food

Mumbai, Dec 13 (NationPress) The Bollywood megastar Salman Khan is known to be a genuine food enthusiast, particularly enjoying home-cooked meals that include rajma chawal, crispy bhindi, and mutton biryani, as shared by his youngest sibling Arpita Khan.
When asked if her brother, often referred to as Bhaijaan, is a foodie, Arpita responded to IANS: “Absolutely, bhai is undoubtedly a food lover just like the rest of our family. He finds home-cooked meals to be the most soothing.”
“Dishes like mutton biryani, beetroot chicken, dal gosht, desi jungli chicken, rajma chawal, and crispy bhindi are our family favorites,” Arpita shared, who has recently launched a restaurant named “Mercii”, a refined European dining venue in Mumbai.
She also mentioned that Salman has crafted a unique “special dish” that is adored by all family members.
“We have our own family specialty called Mixture, a recipe developed by bhai that is simply the best,” she said.
Arpita, married to actor Aayush Sharma, also revealed that her family has visited her new restaurant and enjoyed the cuisine.
“I’m thrilled that all my family members who have come to the restaurant have loved the ambiance, the vibe, and the food,” she expressed.
In regard to Salman, he recently showcased his talents during the Dabangg Reloaded Tour in Dubai, and shared a behind-the-scenes video on Instagram showcasing his rehearsal for the show.
This event was significant as it marked his first global appearance following threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. He was joined on tour by other stars such as Tamannaah Bhatia, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonakshi Sinha, Aastha Gill, Sunil Grover, Prabhu Deva, and Maniesh Paul.
On the cinematic front, the Dabangg star is currently filming his highly awaited movie, ‘Sikandar’.
This film, directed by A.R. Murugadoss of Ghajini fame, features Rashmika Mandanna alongside Salman. It promises to blend Salman's characteristic charm with a captivating narrative that has already stirred considerable excitement within the industry.
‘Sikandar’ is being crafted with a strong emphasis on engaging storytelling and dynamic performances, paving the way for another memorable portrayal by Salman Khan.
This project marks the first collaboration between Salman and Rashmika, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
Additionally, it signifies the reunion of Salman with Sajid after their successful collaboration on ‘Kick’, which debuted in 2014. The film is set to release on Eid 2025, a date traditionally reserved for Salman Khan's films.
