Mumbai, April 13 (NationPress) Following the passing of the iconic Asha Bhosle at the age of 92 on April 12, actor Ashish Chowdhry took a moment to reflect on his experience collaborating with the esteemed playback singer in the song “Na Marte Hum” from the album “Aap Ki Asha.”

In a heartfelt tribute to Asha Bhosle, Ashish shared a charming image on Instagram that showcases the late singer, where he is seen affectionately kissing her on the cheek.

“I was fortunate to be in her presence. A legend of her caliber comes along rarely. You will be missed, #ashaji,” he captioned the post.

Asha Bhosle's journey came to an end in Mumbai at 92 years old. She was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on Saturday. Her final rites are scheduled to take place at Shivaji Park on Monday at 4:00 pm.

On Saturday, her granddaughter, Zanai Bhosle, disclosed that Asha had been hospitalized due to severe exhaustion and a chest infection, and requested privacy during this challenging time.

Zanai stated, "My grandmother, Asha Bhosle, is in the hospital due to extreme exhaustion and a chest infection. We kindly ask for your understanding and privacy. Treatment is ongoing, and we hope for positive updates soon (sic)."
