Mumbai, Nov 20 (NationPress) The renowned rapper Badshah has unveiled his composition ‘It’s Your Turn’ from the much-anticipated film ‘52 Blue’. He expressed that this track embodies his message of encouraging individuals to stop waiting and start taking action towards their aspirations.

Directed by the talented Egyptian filmmaker Ali El Arabi, ‘52 Blue’ features stars like Neha Dhupia and Adil Hussain. This cross-cultural project stands out as a significant blend of modern Indian music and global cinema, showcasing a unique fusion.

Reflecting on the song, Badshah stated, “The journey of Ashish brought to mind the ambitious dreams many of us nurture—those that often feel unattainable or isolating. Creating ‘It’s Your Turn’ was my way of voicing that pivotal moment when one decides to stop waiting and start acting. I feel privileged to contribute to a film that resonates with audiences worldwide. Collaborating with Ali El Arabi and this remarkable team reminded me of the strength of storytelling when diverse cultures unite.”

This track serves as the heartbeat of the film, accompanying its main trailer and encapsulating the protagonist's journey, aligning perfectly with the film's themes of hope, ambition, and achievement. ‘52 Blue’ chronicles the story of Ashish (played by Yadav Shashidhar), a sheltered young man from a secluded island in Kerala. He defies his father's restrictions to pursue a singular dream—meeting his idol, Lionel Messi, at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Inspired by his deceased brother and encouraged by his mother (portrayed by Neha Dhupia), Ashish ventures into the broader world for the first time.

In the film, Neha Dhupia and Adil Hussain play Ashish’s parents, lending emotional depth to the story. The film’s visual narrative is crafted by acclaimed Egyptian cinematographer Mahmoud Basher, whose cinematography adds atmospheric realism and lyrical beauty. ‘52 Blue’ uniquely intertwines fictional storytelling with documentary insights, offering viewers a rare look behind the scenes of the 2022 World Cup and the lives of those whose efforts made it possible.
