Mumbai, Dec 30 (NationPress) Former Bigg Boss 19 participant Malti Chahar has finally responded to the rumors connecting her to music composer Amaal Mallik, decisively putting an end to the speculation and calling for a halt to what she describes as a concocted narrative.
In a firm statement, Malti shared her thoughts on X, previously known as Twitter, emphasizing that there has never been any relationship or "ship" between them.
She stated: "Let’s set the record straight. Amaal and I had no relationship or any form of 'ship.' He requested my number, and we met only once. We exchanged a few personal details, and after that, we only communicated via phone. That’s all! Nothing more transpired between us."
Malti further explained that during her time on the reality show Bigg Boss 19, hosted by superstar Salman Khan, when she mentioned "bahar ki baat nahi karenge (We won’t discuss outside matters in the house)," she meant that she would not divulge his personal information.
She expressed her disappointment about the disrespectful comments directed at her during the show, which she became aware of only after leaving the Bigg Boss house.
"It was disrespectful of Amaal to fabricate a narrative on the show suggesting that I was trying to win his favor and to make derogatory comments about me, which I only learned of after exiting the BB house," she stated.
Malti also noted that Amaal had discussed his mental health on several occasions, both prior to and during the show, and she had responded with compassion at the time.
"Yes, he brought up his mental health a few times, both before and during the show. I was empathetic and sought to support him in those moments so he wouldn't have regrets later. Now, I regret it. Please spare me, and do not link my name with his. Thank you," she concluded.
