Los Angeles, April 20 (NationPress) Hollywood actor-director Steve Buscemi has showered accolades on his ‘Wednesday’ co-star Jenna Ortega. Buscemi recently participated in the Family Dinner fundraising event organized by Exploring the Arts, a non-profit established by Tony Bennett, at the Angel Orensanz Foundation in New York City.

During their discussion, the actor shared his experiences working with Ortega on the second season of the popular Netflix series, as reported by People magazine.

He remarked, “Oh, she's fantastic. She's incredibly sharp, funny, and down-to-earth. A truly wonderful actress and scene partner. The best.”

The Boardwalk Empire star also mentioned that while he can't disclose much about the upcoming second season, he assures fans they will be thrilled. “It's all very hush-hush, but I believe it’s going to be an amazing season, and I loved every moment of working on it,” he hinted. Deadline first reported Buscemi's addition to the cast in April 2024.

According to People, a teaser trailer released the following month officially verified the news and introduced his character, Barry Dort.

Ortega, 22, has also expressed her enthusiasm for the new season. In an interview with E! News, she stated her character, Wednesday Addams, has one of the best scenes yet.

“Some of the footage we filmed for Wednesday season 2, especially in the final episode, is among my favorite from the series,” she shared. “It’s incredibly thrilling for me.”
