Los Angeles, April 23 (NationPress) The trailer for the highly anticipated second season of the popular OTT series ‘Wednesday’ was released on Wednesday, bringing its central character back to Nevermore Academy.

In this season, she is well aware of where the bodies are buried. The teaser kicks off with a bang as the lead character, portrayed by Jenna Ortega, reveals an array of weapons including brass knuckles, a machete, a taser, and more cleverly concealed within her outfit while navigating through airport security, according to reports from ‘People’.

However, her passage is briefly halted due to a bottle of suntan lotion packed by Thing (played by Victor Dorobantu). On her way to school, she is accompanied by her parents, Morticia (played by Catherine Zeta-Jones) and Gomez (played by Luis Guzmán), with her mother commenting, “This is the first time you’ve ever willingly returned to a school”.

Wednesday expresses that it feels like “returning to the scene of the crime” and asserts, “I already know where the bodies are buried”.

The trailer hints at more chilling escapades for the 16-year-old, who is honing her abilities to interpret secret visions that reveal glimpses into the past, as she states, “Wherever there’s murder and mayhem, you will always find an Addams”.

According to ‘People’, Morticia cautions her daughter that “every family has dark secrets”, but “secrets can have deadly consequences”. Nevertheless, Wednesday doesn’t seem fazed by the warning, replying, “You don’t need to worry about me, Mother”. “I do my best work in the dark”.

Ortega, 22, previously hinted that “everything is very graphic” in the second season of the Tim Burton series, sharing with E! News, “Tim really had a ball”.

“It’s very exciting and inspiring to work with someone like that who gets you excited about the shots that you’re doing every day”, she added.

The actress also mentioned that some of the upcoming content in season 2 consists of her “favorite footage from the show”.
