Mumbai, July 31 (NationPress) Actress Chitrangda Singh, who ventured into the world of comedy for the first time with Housefull 5, admitted that she felt a wave of nervousness initially. Nevertheless, she learned to release control and embrace the chaos.

“Honestly, I was quite anxious. Everyone around me had already found their rhythm, while I was still trying to adapt,” Chitrangda confessed.

To her surprise, she found joy in the process.

In addition to her comedic role, she performed several stunts for the film, directed by Tarun Mansukhani.

“We dove straight into it without rehearsals. I was punching, kicking, and getting tossed around. It felt like being a child again,” she reminisced.

For an actress typically seen in serious, nuanced roles, taking on the lively character Maya was a refreshing change. She described the experience as liberating.

“Honestly, it was liberating,” she stated.

Chitrangda added, “I had to let go of control and just enjoy the madness.”

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner, Housefull 5 hit theaters on June 6.

Chitrangda took to Instagram to post a teaser and behind-the-scenes glimpses from the film directed by Goutam Ghose, which also stars Marco Leonardi and Cristina Donadio.

In her caption, she wrote: “Some films are made to entertain, while others tell stories that are vital to share. Parikrama is one such project I’m grateful to be part of; filming it was an emotional experience for me.”

She expressed her gratitude to Ghose, the only Indian recipient of the Vittorio Di Sica Award from Italy in 1997.
