Mumbai, May 20 (NationPress) Actress Chitrangda Singh is stepping into the realm of comedy for the very first time with Housefull 5, and she admits it’s quite a challenge.
“This marks my debut in comedy, and I must say, it’s really tough,” Chitrangda remarked.
She expressed, “I sincerely think it’s more challenging to elicit laughter than tears.”
Chitrangda views this genre as a distinct skill set that requires precision.
“It’s an entirely different game. You need to be so fluid that every joke and its timing resonate perfectly. It’s not merely about saying something funny - it involves energy, timing, and setup. Comedy is serious business.
While the film promises a good laugh, Chitrangda hints at a deeper narrative.
“You can expect my comedic attempts, but the film is not solely about humor. There are numerous twists and an intriguing script. My character is sure to surprise you,” she noted.
In Khakee: The Bengal Chapter, Chitrangda mesmerized viewers as Nandini Basak, a formidable political leader. With yet another compelling performance, she showcased her versatility and the subtle strength she brings to every role.
