Bengaluru, Aug 15 (NationPress) Kannada superstar Darshan, who was apprehended in the shocking fan murder case, along with Prajwal Revanna, a former JD(S) MP found guilty in the obscene video and rape case, opted not to take part in the 79th Independence Day celebrations at the Bengaluru Central Prison, sources disclosed on Friday.
Darshan was taken into custody on Thursday (August 14) after the Supreme Court revoked his bail, while Prajwal Revanna, the grandson of former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda, has been incarcerated for over a year. The Special Court sentenced him to life imprisonment on August 1.
Sources have reported that both individuals are experiencing deep emotional distress due to these developments and decided to stay in their barracks.
It has been further reported that Darshan did not manage to sleep the entire night in prison.
