Chennai, Oct 6 (NationPress) Actor and director Dhanush, whose film 'Idli Kadai' premiered recently, has visited his ancestral temple in Theni and hosted a grand feast for the villagers.

Footage of the actor performing prayers followed by a warm reception and lavish feast with local residents has rapidly circulated on social media. Dhanush, accompanied by his family, also participated in the meal.

The actor's heartfelt visit to the ancestral temple has resonated with many, as he appears to embody the advice he shared with his fans ahead of the film's debut.

At the audio launch for the film, Dhanush elaborated on the key message it intends to convey. He remarked, "What is your identity? Excelling in studies, obtaining a degree, and securing a job elevates your status in society. However, our true identity is rooted in our ancestry. The lives led by our forefathers should not fade away but remain alive as cherished memories for future generations. The essence of our ancestors, alongside our local deity, is what we honor as our ancestral spirit. I urge everyone to visit their ancestral temples and offer prayers. We must not overlook these significant aspects."
