Chennai, Jan 10 (NationPress) Actor Dhanush on Friday released the teaser for director Nelson Venkatesan’s forthcoming film, ‘DNA’, showcasing actors Atharvaa Murali and Nimisha Sajayan in prominent roles.
Taking to his X account, Dhanush posted the YouTube link for the trailer and stated, “Wishing all the best to the complete crew of #DNAMovie featuring @Atharvaamurali & #NimishaSajayan. Written and directed by @nelsonvenkat. Produced by @Olympiamovis and @Ambethkumarmla.
The teaser captivates viewers as it portrays the two main characters of the film, Anand (Atharvaa Murali) and Divya (Nimisha Sajayan), as inherently rebellious.
This rebelliousness against societal norms leads those around them to perceive them as eccentric. Nevertheless, these characters eventually unite, and Anand's trust in Divya faces a challenge due to a situation that seems to involve a crime.
Additionally, the teaser includes the phrase “Two strands wound to make a twisted ladder,” which heightens the intrigue surrounding the storyline. It seems that DNA will be an investigative crime drama that sets itself apart.
In addition to Atharvaa Murali and Nimisha Sajayan in the lead roles, the film will also showcase several other stars, including Balaji Sakthivel, Ramesh Thilak, Viji Chandrasekar, Chetan, Riythvika KP, Subramanian Siva, Karunakaran, and Pasanga Sivakumar.
Directed by Nelson Venkatesan, known for films like ‘Oru Naal Koothu’, ‘Monster’, and ‘Farhana’, this crime drama is produced by Jayanthi Ambedkar.
