Mumbai, March 1 (NationPress) The cast of the highly-anticipated streaming series ‘Dupahiya’ made a sensational entrance at the auditions for an adventure reality show, delivering what could be the most comical audition in reality TV history while on a quest for their Dupahiya.
This unique audition serves as a quirky blend of the film world and the original icons of reality adventure: Raghu, Rajiv, and Rannvijay.
Three quirky small-town outcasts crash an audition, believing it's their last chance to reclaim a stolen motorcycle. This crossover tale is showcased in a new promo titled ‘Kaun Le Jayega Dupahiya’, featuring Banwari Jha (portrayed by Gajraj Rao), Amavas (played by Bhuvan Arora), and Bhugol (played by Sparsh Srivastava) as they comically attempt to win over Raghu, Rajiv, and Rannvijay.
Decked out in their most “audition-ready” attire, Banwari, Amavas, and Bhugol enter the audition room, brimming with misplaced assurance and completely unaware of what lies ahead. The outcome? One of the most riotous and entertaining auditions in reality show history.
Banwari, completely lost, mistakenly claims “Looking for Dupahiya” as his profession, humorously explaining, “I thought this was a goal, so I wrote, ‘To Find Dupahiya’, leaving Raghu and Rajiv utterly astonished.
Simultaneously, Bhugol, under the hilarious misconception that it’s a dance contest, launches into an extravagant performance, while Amavas, struggling with hiccups, stealthily snatches Rannvijay’s watch during the audition.
The promo reaches its climax when Rannvijay chases Amavas across the set, with Banwari and Bhugol witnessing the chaos unfold. If you believed Roadies auditions were intense, Dupahiya raises the bar to an entirely new level of madness.
Created and Executive Produced by Salona Bains Joshi and Shubh Shivdasani under their banner, Bombay Film Cartel, ‘Dupahiya’ is directed by Sonam Nair and written by Avinash Dwivedi and Chirag Garg.
The series is set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video on March 7.
