London, April 11 (NationPress) Grammy-winning pop star Ed Sheeran marks his birthday by indulging in purchasing iconic movie memorabilia and has set his sights on acquiring the Batman costume worn by George Clooney. The 34-year-old artist has a tradition of treating himself to a unique piece of cinematic history each year. After previously acquiring Alicia Silverstone's Batgirl outfit from the 1997 film 'Batman and Robin', he now aims to add Clooney's costume from his singular portrayal as the Caped Crusader.

On the Call Her Daddy podcast hosted by Alex Cooper, Sheeran expressed: "I'm trying to get the George Clooney Batman costume... I bought the Alicia Silverstone Batwoman (outfit), so it would be matching."

The 'Perfect' hitmaker has previously spent a significant amount on a 'Star Wars' replica, as noted by femalefirst.co.uk.

He remarked: "I bought C-3PO. That was not cheap. I do it every birthday. I just buy one prop a year."

"It's something I eagerly anticipate. I spend the entire year pondering, 'What will I acquire this time?'

Sheeran lives in a luxurious estate that features a lake, a chapel, and even a pub. A tunnel connects his private bar to his main residence, where he displays his movie memorabilia.

He elaborated: "In the tunnel, I constructed a listening room, and there's a cinema—it's less of a man cave and more of a man catacomb... I also collect movie props, so I have all of those there. I'm a huge fan of 'Hook', thus I obtained Robin Williams' Pan costume and Julia Roberts' Tinker Bell costume."

Sheeran, who has daughters Lyra and Jupiter with his wife Cherry, mentioned that fatherhood has led him to make significant lifestyle changes.

He stated: "Just not being reckless with drinking, drugs, or smoking. I exercise regularly now, something I never did before. I wake up in the morning, whereas I used to sleep until around 4 PM. My life has transformed dramatically. I spend more time at home, and my work schedule revolves around my children, not just me."
