Chennai, March 30 (NationPress) The producers of the highly anticipated Malayalam action film, 'Pallichattambi', directed by Dijo Jose Antony and starring Tovino Thomas, have officially announced that Eldho Mathew will portray a character named Rathnakaran. This revelation has thrilled fans and cinema enthusiasts alike.

The announcement was made through the film's official Instagram account, which unveiled the first look poster of Eldho Mathew and stated, "Eldho Mathew as Rathnakaran @actor_eldho. Coming to theaters worldwide on April 10, 2026. Directed by Dijo Jose Antony."

Previously, it was disclosed that actor Midhun Venugopal will take on the role of Davi in the film.

The excitement for 'Pallichattambi' surged following the recent release of its teaser, which hints that the narrative unfolds shortly after the nation’s independence. The teaser suggests a storyline centered on a man challenging tyranny in an era filled with supernatural beliefs.

Additionally, the director recently announced the completion of filming. Produced by Noufal and Brijeesh under the World Wide Films banner, alongside Chanukya Chaithanya Charan from C Qube Bros Entertainments, 'Pallichattambi' aims to showcase Tovino Thomas in a distinctive new appearance. Sources indicate that the film's plot is set during the 1950s to 1960s.

The film will be available in five languages, including Malayalam, featuring a cast that comprises Vijayaraghavan, Sudheer Karamana, Baburaj, Vinod Kedamangalam, Prashanth Alexander, and several other notable actors.

On the technical side, the screenplay is crafted by S Suresh Babu, with cinematography by Tijo Tomy, and music composed by the acclaimed Jakes Bejoy. The editing is managed by Sreejith Sarang, while Dileep Nath oversees production design.
