Chennai, Jan 20 (NationPress) The production team of director Dijo Jose Antony's highly anticipated Malayalam action film, ‘Pallichattambi’, starring Tovino Thomas in the leading role, officially announced that the movie is set to release worldwide on April 9 this year.

The announcement was made via a motion poster shared on the film's official Instagram account, confirming the global theatrical release on April 9.

Pallichattambi is produced by World Wide Films and C Qube Bros Entertainments and is expected to showcase Tovino Thomas in an unprecedented avatar. Reports indicate that the film's storyline is set in the 1950s–60s era.

The film is produced by Noufal and Brijeesh under the World Wide Films banner, with Chanukya Chaithanya Charan contributing from C Qube Bros Entertainments. It will be released in five languages, including Malayalam.

Currently, Tovino Thomas is enjoying a vacation in Norway, exploring the stunning peaks of Bergen, the second largest city after Oslo. He recently shared the release announcement motion poster on his Instagram account.

Joining Tovino Thomas as the female lead is Kayadu Lohar, who gained recognition for her performance in the Tamil blockbuster 'Dragon'.

The cast also includes notable actors like Vijayaraghavan, Sudheer Karamana, Baburaj, Vinod Kedamangalam, Prashanth Alexander, and others.

From a technical perspective, the script is penned by S Suresh Babu, with cinematography by Tijo Tomy, while the music score is crafted by Jakes Bejoy, a celebrated name in the Mollywood music scene. Editing is overseen by Sreejith Sarang, and production design is by Dileep Nath.

Associate producers include Meghasyam and Thanzeer, with costume design by Manjusha Radhakrishnan.

Chief associate directors are Renit Raj and Kiran Raphael, with sound design by Sync Cinema. The film's art direction is led by Rajesh Menon, and casting is managed by Binoy Nambala.
