Chennai, Feb 6 (NationPress) Director Dijo Jose Antony has officially revealed that the filming of his highly anticipated Malayalam action entertainer, ‘Pallichattambi’, featuring Tovino Thomas in the lead role, has reached its completion.

Sharing moments from the filming locations on his Instagram, the director stated, "From the initial shot in Thodupuzha to the concluding patch shoot across various states, the extended journey of #Pallichattambi culminates today. The film has generated significant excitement among audiences and cinema enthusiasts.

Notably, just last Monday, the creators unveiled the first-look poster showcasing actress Kayadu Lohar in the film.

For those unfamiliar, Kayadu Lohar, who gained recognition for her outstanding performance in the Tamil blockbuster 'Dragon', stars as the female lead alongside Tovino Thomas.

Tovino Thomas also took to Instagram to share the first look of Kayadu Lohar, stating, "And then, there was love... Love for a character, for a world, and for the essence of Pallichattambi! The producers have confirmed that the film is set to premiere globally on April 9 this year.

Produced by World Wide Films and C Qube Bros Entertainments, ‘Pallichattambi’ aims to showcase Tovino Thomas in an unprecedented role. Reports suggest that the film's narrative is set during the 1950s–60s.

The film's production is led by Noufal and Brijeesh under the World Wide Films banner, along with Chanukya Chaithanya Charan from C Qube Bros Entertainments. The film will be released in five languages, including Malayalam.

In addition to Tovino Thomas and Kayadu Lohar, the cast features well-known actors such as Vijayaraghavan, Sudheer Karamana, Baburaj, Vinod Kedamangalam, Prashanth Alexander, and many more.

On the technical side, the film’s screenplay is written by S Suresh Babu, with cinematography by Tijo Tomy and music composed by the talented Jakes Bejoy. Editing is overseen by Sreejith Sarang, and production design is managed by Dileep Nath.

Associate producers Meghasyam and Thanzeer have contributed to the film, while Manjusha Radhakrishnan is responsible for the costume design.

The film's chief associate directors include Renit Raj and Kiran Raphael, with sound design by Sync Cinema. Art direction is handled by Rajesh Menon and casting by Binoy Nambala.
