Los Angeles, Oct 22 (NationPress) Actress Elizabeth Olsen expressed her enthusiasm for filmmaking and stated that she would eagerly accept the opportunity to reprise her role as Wanda Maximoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) again.

In a recent interview, Olsen emphasized the importance of experiencing films in theaters. She stated her preference for participating in projects that receive theatrical releases as opposed to those made solely for streaming platforms, according to reports from deadline.com.

“If a film is produced independently and ultimately sold to a streaming service, that’s acceptable. However, I’m not interested in creating something where that’s the ultimate goal,” Olsen shared with InStyle.

She continued, “I believe it’s crucial for audiences to come together as a community, to connect with one another, and to share a space. This is why I appreciate sports. There’s something incredibly powerful about people uniting for a shared excitement.”

When asked about her iconic role as Wanda Maximoff, Olsen confessed that she had “no idea” about her character's fate after The Scarlet Witch's last appearance in 2022’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Reflecting on her experiences making Marvel films, Olsen remarked that it’s often “silly” and “absurd,” adding, “We’re adults acting like children on a playground, flying and shooting things from our hands. It’s a character I’ve had the pleasure of returning to repeatedly over the past decade. I enjoy stepping away from her, missing her, and being eager to return. I’d jump at the chance to step back into her shoes again.”

The actress noted that her collaboration with Marvel has provided her with a “consistent community and job.”

She concluded by stating, “It offers financial stability, allowing for diverse choices. The value it brings is significant when working on independent films.”
