Mumbai, Aug 20 (NationPress) Prime Video has released an enthralling trailer for the second season of its critically acclaimed series, "Fallout".
This new season will continue the story from the thrilling conclusion of season one, taking viewers on a trek through the Mojave wasteland to the desolate city of New Vegas.
During a packed event at gamescom, with over 5,000 attendees, Nolan, Robertson-Dworet, and series stars Ella Purnell and Aaron Moten provided insights into the heightened stakes of season two. They introduced a new cast member, Justin Theroux, who will portray Robert House, offering a glimpse into one of the most formidable post-apocalyptic creatures in the Fallout universe: the Deathclaw.
Drawing inspiration from a beloved video game, "Fallout" explores the dichotomy between the privileged and the underprivileged in a world where very little remains. Set 200 years after the apocalypse, the sheltered inhabitants of luxury fallout bunkers are compelled to venture back into the irradiated wasteland their ancestors abandoned. They are met with a bizarre, intricate, and often violent new reality.
The principal cast features Ella Purnell (known for Yellowjackets, Sweetpea), Aaron Moten (from Emancipation, Father Stu), Walton Goggins (of The White Lotus, The Righteous Gemstones), Kyle MacLachlan (famed for Twin Peaks), Moisés Arias (from The King of Staten Island), and Frances Turner (of The Boys).
Produced by Kilter Films, the series has Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, and Athena Wickham as executive producers. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner serve as executive producers, creators, and showrunners for the eagerly awaited season two. The production is a collaboration between Amazon, MGM Studios, Kilter Films, and Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks.
The second season is set to debut on December 17 this year, with an eight-episode arc releasing one episode weekly until the season finale on February 4, 2026.
