Los Angeles, March 30 (NationPress) Actor Pedro Pascal discussed the significance of his role in ‘The Last of Us’, stating that this character has marked a “new chapter” in his life.

The 49-year-old star is experiencing great success following his performance in ‘Gladiator II’, but he gained widespread fame after portraying Joel Miller in the post-apocalyptic series ‘The Last of Us’.

As reported by people.com, during a virtual press conference for the upcoming second season of ‘The Last of Us’, he remarked: “This job definitely created a new chapter in my life in a profound way.”

Chilean-American Pascal, who is also known for his role as Oberyn Martell in ‘Game of Thrones’, first appeared in ‘The Last of Us’ when it premiered in January 2023.

The narrative follows the emotional journey of his character Joel and the young Ellie, portrayed by Bella Ramsey, as they traverse a devastated world where Ellie’s immunity to a lethal infection could be humanity’s salvation.
