Mumbai, Aug 18 (NationPress) Actor Faissal Khan, who has cut off all connections with his brother Aamir Khan and his family, has revealed the specifics of his initial allowance provided by the superstar.
On Monday, Faissal engaged with IANS following a press conference he hosted to clarify various matters.
He disclosed that he received an allowance for his expenses. Faissal stated to IANS, “I began with INR 30,000 and over time, it increased. I also collaborated with Aamir as a script doctor for a fee.”
Faissal further claimed that he has endured a great deal due to family politics, pointing fingers at his mother Zeenat Hussain, his sister Nikhat, and his brother-in-law Santosh Hegde. He commended director Sandeep Reddy Vanga for creating ‘Animal’ and depicting the struggles of a troubled family, suggesting he feels similarly towards his brother-in-law as the character portrayed by Ranbir Kapoor does in the film.
During the discussion, he mentioned that issues in his life began with family pressures regarding marriage.
Faissal shared, “It all started in 2002 when my family pressured me to marry. I wrote a letter detailing that my sister Nikhat has been married three times, and Aamir has a child out of wedlock with Jessika Hines. I questioned in that letter, if this is their personal state, who are they to advise me on my life choices? That marked the beginning of my estrangement. Subsequently, they claimed I was experiencing mental health issues because I stopped meeting them.”
He added that while he is currently at peace, he occasionally takes medication for anxiety when familial pressure becomes overwhelming.
