Mumbai, Aug 18 (NationPress) Actor Aamir Khan's brother, Faissal Khan, has made a shocking claim that their mother, Zeenat Hussain, compelled him to wed his aunt (mousi) during the years 2002-2003. In a media interaction on Monday, he voiced further allegations against his family—some of which were previously mentioned, while others were new revelations.
The 'Mela' actor accused his mother, Zeenat Hussain, his sister Nikhat Hegde, and brother-in-law Santosh Hegde of cutting off ties with him and his family.
He asserted that they misled Aamir; however, he remarked that the 'PK' star should have been more discerning, as he is no longer a child.
Faissal further alleged that the press release issued by Aamir and the family was misleading, lacking specific dates, which he believes creates a false narrative that these events occurred recently.
On Sunday, Faissal shared a heartfelt Instagram post regarding his decision to sever family ties, stating that he has chosen this path for his personal “healing and growth.”
His post stated: "Official Announcement...With a heavy heart yet renewed courage, I wish to share that I have severed all family ties, as declared through a public notice. This step, though difficult, is essential for my healing and growth."
"Life now enters a new chapter of freedom, dignity, and self-discovery—one that I embrace with positivity, truth, and strength," he added.
Earlier, speaking on a digital platform, Faissal accused Aamir of confining him in his home for an entire year. He claimed that during this confinement, he was given medication against his will while being told that he was suffering from paranoid schizophrenia.
Faissal also mentioned that his mother and sister had filed a case against him, alleging he was a danger to society due to his purported diagnosis.
Aamir and his family subsequently issued an official statement, contending that Faissal is distorting the truth.
