Mumbai, Aug 11 (NationPress) Bollywood's versatile talent Farhan Akhtar, who is preparing for the launch of his forthcoming war drama ‘120 Bahadur’, has expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the furry companions that have graced his life. On Monday, the actor, director, and producer shared a delightful image on his Instagram, showcasing four stacked dog beds, each labeled with the names of his pets: Rumi, Gigi, Tyson, and Jimmy.
In his post, Farhan wrote, “Observing these four beds arranged together fills my heart with immense joy and gratitude. Thank you, universe, for bringing these wonderful beings into our lives. I often wonder whether we care for them or they care for us.”
Farhan has given a loving home to three Indian breed dogs—Tyson, Jimmy, and Rumi—and welcomed his fourth pup, Gigi, into the family last October.
The actor frequently shares snippets of his life with his pets on social media.
In related news, Farhan has publicly supported filmmaker Aanand L. Rai amid the ongoing debate over Raanjhanaa and AI technology. The film's conclusion was modified using AI without Aanand's approval, prompting Farhan to advocate for the director. While attending the trailer launch of ‘120 Bahadur’ in Lower Parel, Mumbai, he stated, “I will always support the creator of the film. If the creator feels dissatisfied with changes made to their work, my loyalty lies with them. While I may not be fully aware of the intricate details, that’s my stance.”
His business partner, Ritesh Sidhwani, who co-owns Excel Entertainment, echoed Farhan’s sentiments. “I agree with Farhan. I think AI is a tool we need to adopt and utilize effectively,” he remarked. “Previously, we relied on libraries and books for research. With the advent of Google, our approach evolved. We must learn to use AI wisely,” he added.
