Mumbai, Jan 23 (NationPress) Actress Gul Panag, who plays the role of the wife to the central character Hathi Ram Chaudhary in the streaming series Paatal Lok, has described her character as the emotional anchor for Hathiram.
The second season of Paatal Lok is receiving widespread acclaim. Nearly five years after the initial season, the series has not only endured but has also expanded its creative horizons, delving into richer storytelling, cinematography, and character arcs in this latest installment.
Discussing her character's growth, Gul Panag remarked, “Renu serves as the emotional anchor for Hathiram. Both seasons emphasize the comfort and security of Hathiram's family environment, and I endeavored to maintain that essence in the second season. However, with the passage of five years, it was crucial to reflect changes within a husband-wife dynamic. Their son has now moved to college, marking a significant shift in family dynamics. The goal was to portray the natural evolution of any relationship over time. As performers, Jaideep and I aimed to align with the director's vision. It was vital for us to be in sync with the director.”
She also shared her insights on collaborating with the show's director, Avinash Arun Dhaware.
