Mumbai, Jan 6 (NationPress) Jia Narigara, recognized for her role in 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2', is eager to make her entrance into the television series 'Jhanak', which features Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja in lead roles. She has announced that she has commenced filming and disclosed that her character is beautiful.
Jia expressed, "I am delighted to become a part of this acclaimed show. I will portray Ridhi, a young Gujarati girl in Kunal Verma's family. It's a lovely and charming character. I have started my filming, and the audience will soon see me on screen."
She shared that playing a Gujarati character is quite enjoyable.
She continued: "Being born into a Gujarati family in reality makes it fun to portray one on-screen. I am thrilled that 2025 is kicking off positively for me in my career. I am eager to pursue more opportunities this year."
In the narrative, Jhanak, portrayed by Hiba Nawab, is about to embark on a life-altering journey as she prepares to marry Vihaan, played by Kunal Verma, becoming his second wife.
This significant twist occurs as Jhanak leaves her previous life in Kolkata behind and starts anew in Gujarat. Furthermore, her relationship with Krushal Ahuja’s character, Aniruddha, is coming to a close, marking a pivotal moment in the story.
In addition to Jia, the series will feature talents like Aarya DharmChand, Soniyaa Kaur, Muni Jha, and Vaishali Thakkar. The cast also includes actors such as Kajal Pisal, Poorva Gokhale, Sachin Verma, Ankita Chakraborty, and Sunny Sachdeva.
On her professional journey, Jia is widely known for her performances in 'Kumkum Bhaygya', 'Ishq-e-Nadaan', 'Gunaah', and 'Be Happy'.
Regarding 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2', it is a romantic drama television series developed by Ekta Kapoor under her production house Balaji Telefilms.
This series was a reboot of Kapoor's 2001 soap opera sharing the same title. It aired from September 25, 2018 to October 3, 2020, featuring actors such as Parth Samthaan, Erica Fernandes, Hina Khan, Karan Singh Grover, Aamna Sharif, and Karan Patel.
