Mumbai, April 29 (NationPress) Kalki Koechlin revealed that her multicultural background has shaped her adaptability and enabled her to uncover various dimensions of her personality. This rich experience has infused her performances with deeper empathy and complexity.
When asked if her feelings of being an outsider contribute to the empathy and depth in her acting, Kalki responded to IANS: “I’m certain it has.”
“Having been exposed to a multitude of influences, including French, Tamil, English, and various belief systems, has equipped me to adjust and behave differently in diverse situations,” she stated.
Born in Pondicherry to French parents, Kalki elaborated: “I exhibit a different persona while conversing in French at the dinner table with my parents, another at school, and yet another while playing with neighborhood kids.”
