Karan took to Instagram to unveil a poster of the film featuring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri. He expressed that witnessing Dhadak 2 resonate within such esteemed academic circles has been a “remarkable moment of pride” for all involved.
He mentioned: “It’s such a fantastic moment of pride for us at @dharmamovies to see Dhadak 2 screened at all the Ivy League universities… (sic).”
The filmmaker acknowledged director Shazia Iqbal for contributing a vital voice and perspective to the film. Lauding her as the essence of the project, Karan commended her storytelling abilities and vision, asserting that the film's impact attests to her extraordinary talent and dedication.

Dhadak 2 serves as a spiritual sequel to Dhadak and is a remake of the Tamil movie Pariyerum Perumal. The narrative follows Nilesh and Vidhi as they navigate their love amid the challenges posed by caste disparities that threaten their relationship.
Despite its critical themes, the film struggled at the box office, failing to recoup its production costs during its theatrical release.
Karan's latest venture is the romantic comedy Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, directed by Sameer Vidwans. The film stars Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday, alongside Neena Gupta, Jackie Shroff, and Tiku Talsania. The filmmaker has been honored with the National Film Awards and the Padma Shri.
