Mumbai, Jan 29 (NationPress) Renowned actor Karan Patel, celebrated for his extensive and successful career in daily television dramas, has shared insights into his choice to step back from the unyielding demands of television schedules, expressing that he reached a stage where he felt he was “operating on autopilot.”

Regarding his hiatus, Patel acknowledged that although daily TV has been a vital aspect of his professional journey, the relentless nature of the medium eventually took a toll on his well-being.

When asked about the moment he realized he needed to distance himself from daily dramas, Karan stated to IANS: “When I understood I was running on autopilot. I adore daily television, but it’s both physically and mentally taxing.”

Karan emphasized that his decision to take a break was not solely due to exhaustion, but also a desire to reconnect with himself outside the filming environment.

“I aimed to reconnect with myself, with life beyond the set. This pause was not about quitting—it was about recalibrating,” explained the actor, who was last seen in the daily show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.

Karan first gained prominence in the series Kasturi, portraying Robbie Sabarwal, which marked his inaugural lead role. His acting journey began with Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii where he played the character Vigyat. He has also appeared in Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Kasamh Se.
