Kareena detailed her experience to the authorities, stating that she and her sons have taken refuge at her sister Karisma Kapoor's home since the incident. She mentioned, “Following the attack, I was in shock, so Karisma brought me to her place.” The two sisters are known to maintain a close relationship in Mumbai.
In her account, Kareena disclosed that immediately after the attack, she directed her children and their caretaker to the 12th floor for their safety.
