Mumbai, Jan 16 (NationPress) Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan’s children from his previous marriage, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, were spotted arriving at Lilavati Hospital in the Bandra locality of Mumbai to visit their father following an incident where he was stabbed multiple times while attempting to thwart a burglar.
Sara and Ibrahim chose not to address the media present outside the hospital and proceeded directly inside to see their father.
The actor sustained six stab wounds, with two being particularly serious as they are located near his spine. The attack occurred at approximately 2:15 am when the intruder reportedly broke into their Bandra residence, assaulted their house help, and then attacked Saif when he intervened.
At the time of the incident, his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan was at home alongside other family members, all of whom were asleep. Saif was awakened by the disturbance coming from their son Jeh’s room.
Upon entering the room, he discovered the assailant attacking their house help. In an attempt to protect their house help, Saif bravely intervened with his bare hands to confront the intruder.
The Mumbai police have initiated an investigation and are currently reviewing CCTV footage. Reports indicate that three suspects have been detained and are undergoing interrogation.
According to sources, Kareena had attended a party but returned to their residence at 1:30 am on Thursday.
