Mumbai, Jan 18 (NationPress) Saif Ali Khan is presently receiving treatment at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital following a shocking stabbing event that occurred at his residence in Bandra. To show her support, his daughter Sara Ali Khan was seen visiting him at the hospital.

Additionally, the actor's sister, Soha Ali Khan, was also spotted at the hospital accompanied by her husband Kunal Khemu and their daughter Inaaya. Other notable visitors included filmmaker Jay Shewakramani and Dinesh Vijan, head of Maddock Films, who were photographed outside the hospital. Recently, Kareena Kapoor, Saif's wife, also made a trip to see him.

According to recent updates, the assailant fled to Dadar following the attack. Reports indicate that the suspect bought a set of headphones from a mobile store located in the Kaptan Khana area. Members of the crime branch and police have since visited the shop, reviewing CCTV footage for any clues and interviewing the shopkeeper, who claimed to be unaware of the incident.

In another development, authorities have located the auto-rickshaw driver, Bhajan Singh Rana, who transported Saif Ali Khan to Lilavati Hospital after the stabbing. His account has been documented at the Bandra police station.

Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor has provided her statement to police, detailing her family's response during the distressing incident. She mentioned that immediately after the attack, she directed her children, Taimur and Jeh, along with their domestic help, to the 12th floor for their safety.

Kareena further noted that the assailant did not take anything from their home, emphasizing that he displayed extreme aggression and persistently attempted to harm Saif Ali Khan, who courageously tried to defend himself. Following the attack, Kareena was escorted to her sister Karisma Kapoor's residence for added security.

Despite the police's ongoing efforts, the attacker remains unidentified and at large, leaving the motive for the attack unclear.
