Mumbai, Jan 16 (NationPress) The team representing Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has released an official statement confirming an attempted burglary at his residence, adding that he is currently in the hospital for surgery.
“An attempted burglary occurred at Mr. Saif Ali Khan’s home. He is presently undergoing surgery at the hospital. We urge the media and fans to remain patient as this is a police matter,” the actor's team stated.
Sources indicate that Saif confronted the intruder, attempting to protect his family without a weapon, resulting in injuries during the struggle. This incident transpired in the early hours of the morning, and despite the intruder being armed, Saif bravely defended his loved ones.
On January 16, Saif sustained injuries after being attacked with a knife at home by a burglar around 4 AM. During the robbery, the thief assaulted Saif, causing injuries, although fortunately, the knife wound is located on his back and is not deemed serious.
