The statement shared by the team outlined, “Saif Ali Khan has successfully emerged from surgery and is out of danger. He is in recovery, with doctors closely monitoring his health. All family members are safe, and the police are actively investigating the incident.”

Furthermore, the statement expressed gratitude towards Dr. Niraj Uttamani, Dr. Nitin Dange, Dr. Leena Jain, and the entire team at Lilavati Hospital. They also thanked all fans and well-wishers for their prayers and support during this challenging time.

The actor was attacked in the early hours of Thursday when he attempted to fend off a burglar, sustaining multiple stab wounds, two of which are reported to be serious as they are located near his spine. The incident occurred at 2:15 am when the burglar allegedly forced his way into their residence in Bandra, attacking the house help before Saif intervened.

At the time of the attack, his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and other family members were present in the home, asleep. Saif was alerted by the disturbance coming from his son Jeh’s room.

Upon entering the room, Saif found the intruder in a confrontation with their house help. Without hesitation, Saif stepped in to protect the house help, confronting the assailant with his bare hands.

The Mumbai police have initiated an investigation and are reviewing CCTV footage. Reports indicate that three suspects have been detained for questioning.
