Mumbai, Jan 17 (NationPress) The health of Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is on the mend as he is now walking comfortably, according to the medical team at Lilavati Hospital.
On January 16, during the early hours, Saif was brutally attacked and sustained several stab wounds in an attempted robbery at his upscale Bandra residence. He was quickly transported to Lilavati Hospital where he underwent surgery.
A statement from Saif's attending physician revealed: “The condition of Saif Ali Khan is stable... He is showing signs of improvement... Saif is feeling better now... He has been moved from ICU to a special room... Visitor access has been limited.”
“Saif requires rest. He was able to walk today without discomfort. All health parameters are satisfactory. Visitor access is restricted to minimize the risk of infection. There is a spinal injury that needs to be monitored closely.”
The police have confiscated a piece of a Hexa Blade that was extracted from Saif's body during the surgical procedure.
