Mumbai, Jan 16 (NationPress) Saif Ali Khan is currently receiving treatment at Lilavati Hospital after suffering multiple stab wounds during a robbery attempt. According to the FIR filed at Bandra Police Station, the housemaid employed at the actor's residence shared some disturbing revelations with the authorities.

She mentioned hearing strange sounds around 2 AM. When she investigated, a man emerged from the bathroom and headed towards Jeh's bed. As she attempted to pick up Jeh, he charged at her wielding a wooden object. When she inquired about his intentions, he stated, “I need money”. Upon asking for the amount, he demanded “one crore”.

Upon hearing the commotion, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor rushed to the scene. The assailant struck the Omkara actor with a wooden item and a hexa blade, resulting in injuries to his neck, right shoulder, left side of his back, and near his left wrist and elbow, causing significant bleeding.

Meanwhile, CCTV footage circulating on social media captured the moment the attacker fled down the staircase post-incident.

Saif Ali Khan underwent surgery at Lilavati Hospital. Dr. Nitin Dange, a member of the surgical team, disclosed, “Saif Ali Khan was admitted at 2:00 AM. He suffered a serious injury to the thoracic spinal cord from a knife lodged in his spine. The surgery removed the knife and repaired a leak in the spinal fluid. Two other severe wounds on his left hand and neck were addressed by the plastic surgery team. He is now stable and recovering well.”

Numerous figures from the film industry, including Sanjay Dutt, Malaika, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, Soha Ali Khan, Sara Ali Khan, and Ibrahim Ali Khan, visited Lilavati Hospital to check on the actor.
