Los Angeles, Dec 13 (NationPress) Pop sensation Kylie Minogue has expressed her desire for Margot Robbie to portray her in a potential biopic, although she believes the actress is now too renowned to take on the role.

During an interview on BBC Radio 2, Minogue remarked about Robbie: “Oh! she is such a doll. I am frequently asked, 'Who would you want to play you?' Typically, I dodge the question, but that day I decided, 'I will just say Margot.'” She candidly shared that while her response was genuine, she is skeptical about the feasibility of such casting, stating, “I don’t believe for a second that this is possible because she is Margot Robbie.”

When prompted about her choice, the Can’t Get You Out Of My Head singer affirmed her admiration, joking that anyone would desire Robbie to be connected to their life story.

She added: “Since you brought me into this, The Rock would want Margot Robbie to play him because everyone … Who wouldn’t want Margot Robbie?”

In the same interview, Minogue revealed she nearly performed East 17's Christmas classic Stay Another Day during her festive concert at the Royal Albert Hall. She reminisced, “You know what, I almost did that song for my Christmas show at the Royal Albert Hall. We were all set to wear fake white furs. However, I had too much on my plate, so it didn’t happen… You know it’s still on the list.”

When asked if she would don the iconic East 17 coat, she confirmed that was indeed the plan and noted that the song remains “a significant moment” in UK festive pop culture.

The star, who launched her latest album Tension this year and recently secured her second Grammy, hinted that new music could be on the horizon.

When questioned about upcoming tunes, the Padam Padam singer teased: “Probably. I need a little … moment. Just a moment to reflect on this year. But yes, there may be some voice notes in my phone and some tracks and some ideas.”
